Please Adopt a Duck for UCC!

To adopt online:

Click on “Adopt a Duck”
It will ask if you have an envelope (No)
Pick a Team – Click on Unchain Cumberland County
Fill in payment information

To adopt by mail:

Use a UCC envelope. Those numbers are assigned only to UCC. (Most people adopt four ducks for $20 and get one free)
Fill out personal information on inside flap of envelope. Tear off and put in envelope with payment.
Keep top part as receipt. Seal and mail, give to Kathy at Urban Ministry, or give to UCC by Thursday of every week.

Note: We can get all the duck adoption envelopes we want, so use them freely. For every five handed out, one will come back with money!
Try to form teams: Friends, family, co-workers, places where you do business; people who love animals.

Make all the copies you need of flyers and Duck Derby information.
Encourage people to adopt on the spot, and give the envelope back to you.

Tell your friends, family members, neighbors, co-workers, anyone you can think of! This will REALLY be a huge help to UCC. Plus there are some GREAT prizes that are being given away. Thank you all so much in advance. I know you care...

We need donations of yard sale items, pet items, baked goods, anything that will sell! No clothing unless in excellent, clean condition, ready to hang. (Coats & jackets will be saved for Santa Paws)

Includes: Spay, Rabies shot, pain medicine/antibiotics, overnight with the vet, and a Big Fix gift bag

To qualify: If you receive any kind of assistance - Medicaid, Food Stamps, Health Choice, you automatically qualify. Others may qualify based on income and number of people in the household.

Pit Bulls account for 35% of dogs euthanized at our shelter. We are trying to help reduce those numbers.
